Official Bushido Martial Arts Club Tournaments.
| Since the late 1980’s when Sensei Roy Stanhope
suggested that we might want to enter the new F.S.K. Tournaments Bushido
has enjoyed the hospitality of many Tournament organisers and has itself
played host to several National events many for Charity. 2010 saw huge successes for Bushido Students with Numerous English Champions and three times as many Medallists in all major Tournaments . The year also saw 8 members compete under the W.K.C. Flag as England Team Members in the W.K.C. World Championships in Portugal where they gained 4 Bronze Medals. With a new and exciting program and an unparalleled hunger for greater success the team has set its sights on Gold and World Championship Titles and are honing their skills at every lesson.
Once bitten by the tournament bug there was to be no going back and
Bushido students and Instructors alike have been successful at every
level and discipline of Competition. From points sparring to light
continuous, from traditional kata to creative kata Bushido has had
students gain World Class success that has continued right upto
present day. Now with 2 Senior Instructors overseeing and competing
alongside the “SHOGUNS” team there has never been a more positive mood
in the Bushido team. |
